| How can I create an account at RoosterJobs.com?
Answer: Click here to create an account and post your resume, or visit the home page of RoosterJobs.com and select the Jobseeker tab. Click the Signup link and follow the on-screen steps or click the Join Rooster Now button in the home page.

| How can I login to my account?
Answer: You can either click here to login, or go to the home page of RoosterJobs.com. Select the Jobseeker tab and login by entering your registered Email Id and Password; then click the Login button to login into your account.

| How can I edit/update my resume and profile?
Answer: You can navigate to the home page of RoosterJobs.com and select the Jobseeker tab. After successful login, you are in your My Resume page for editing. Note: Email ID’s cannot be edited from this point. After making your changes, click the Save button to update your profile.

| If I forget my password, how can I retrieve it?
Answer: You can either, click here, or navigate to the home page of RoosterJobs.com, select the Jobseeker tab, and click the Forgot Password link. You will be prompted to enter your Email Id and click the Get Password button. An email from our support staff is automatically sent to your Email Id giving you the details requested.

| How can I change my password?
Answer: Navigate go to the home page of RoosterJobs.com and select the Jobseeker tab, enter your credentials, and click Login. After successful login, click the Change Password button. Enter your new password, confirm it by entering it again, and click Update Password. Email ID’s are unable to be changed in a record once it is saved.

| How can I make my resume confidential?
Answer: Navigate to the home page of RoosterJobs.com and select the Jobseeker tab. After successful login, you will see your Resume page. Click the check box at the bottom of the page next to “Can Potential Manager review your resume and contact you?” and click the Save button to update.

| How can I stop receiving Job Alerts in email?
Answer: Navigate to the home page of RoosterJobs.com and select the Jobseeker tab. After successful login, you will see your resume page. Click the check box at the bottom of the page next to “Can Rooster notify you upon job match?” and click the Save button to update.

| How can I see my matched Jobs?
Answer: Navigate to the home page of RoosterJobs.com and select the Jobseeker tab. After successful login, you will see your resume page. Click the My Job Matches button, and your matched jobs are displayed

| How can I see the Jobs for which I have already applied?
Answer: Navigate to the home page of RoosterJobs.com and select the Jobseeker tab. After successful login, you will see your resume page. Click the My Applied Jobs button, and your applied jobs are displayed.

| How can I search for jobs?
Answer: Searching for jobs can be done before or after login.
1. In the RoosterJobs.com home page click into the Skills field and enter your job skills, then click into the Location field and type in your location. Click Go to retrieve jobs. The search can be further refined by using the filter features to the left of the screen.
2. To see a listing of recent job posting, click the Search button on the top navigation menu. The same search and filter techniques discussed above can be used here as well.

| How do I apply for jobs?
Answer: Applying for jobs can be done after successful login using the Apply or Multiple Quick Apply buttons in the Search feature and Job Detail screen. For multiple selections use the check box to the left of the Apply button. Once these buttons are clicked a notice is displayed near the top of the screen reading, “You have successfully applied this job” and the Apply button(s) will read “Applied.” |
| How do I save a job to my favorites list?
Answer: Saving favorite jobs can be done after successful login using the Favorite button in the Search feature or the Job Detail screen. Once this button is clicked a notice is displayed near the top of the screen reading, “You have successfully added this job to your favorite jobs.” Note: If the button is clicked more than once the job will appears multiple times in your list of favorites.

Answer: If you have trouble logging in please click on the Contact Us button, fill in all required fields, including your inquiry, and click Submit. We will respond promptly. You can also email support@roosterjobs.com for prompt correspondence.

Please notice your options to 1) Hide Contact details, and 2) Email the Job alerts to the Matched Resumes on this screen. |
How do I create a Job Template?
Answer: Once a job is posted, one can utilize the Get Template feature offered for similar job posting needs. After successful login, a recruiter can click on the “Save as Template” link in his/her My Jobs page to create Job Templates. This will save time in posting jobs in the future.
- After Save as Template is clicked the user can click on the Post New Job button and select from the dropdown menu in the Select Template field. Once a selection is made, click the Get Template button to the right of the field and most of the required fields will populate.
- Please notice that the Job Expiry Date and your options to 1) Hide Contact details, and 2) Email the Job alerts to the Matched Resumes on this screen do not automatically populate.
- When all job details are entered click Save Job.

| How can I edit my job details?
Answer: After successful login, you will see your Job List page. Click the Edit icon in the Action column. Make the desired changes in your Edit Job screen and click the Update Job button to save changes. A job can also be deleted by clicking the delete icon in the Action column.
Note: Once a Job is made Inactive it becomes not editable. |
| How can I search for resumes at RoosterJobs.com?
Answer: After successful login as a recruiter, click on the Find Resumes button and type a skill or skills and a city or state (like: java, Saint Louis) into the Search Potential Candidates feature and click the Search button. When your list returns, click the Resume View (magnifying glass) icon and the Resume Window will open.

How can I assign and consider resumes for my job?
Answer: After successful login as a recruiter, click on the Find Resumes button and type a skill or skills and a city or state (like: java, Saint Louis) into the Search Potential Candidates feature and click the Search button.
- When your list returns, click the Resume View (magnifying glass) icon.
- In the Resume Window you can:
- Download the resume by clicking the Download button,
- Assign it to a particular job by using the Consider to my job menu, and
- Assign a rank to the profile.

| How do I review all applicants assign to my job?
Answer: After successful login as a recruiter, click on the My Jobs button and find the job in question. Click on the number link in the Applicants column for that job.
Click on the Profile link under your Action column. Here you can view contact vitals, skill details, among other consultant details as well as their resume. You also have access to the Next and Previous Candidate buttons to easily thumb through the assigned candidate profiles.

| How can I edit my recruiter profile?
Answer: After successful login, you can click on the My Profile button, make your changes, and click the Update button to save. Note: Email ID’s cannot be edited.

| How can I change my password?
Answer: After successful login, click the Change Password button. Enter your new password, confirm it by entering it again, and click Update Password. You will receive an automated email noting the change.
